PROCESSING ORDERS
Thank you for choosing us! We truly appreciate it. However, we understand you need to gain a clearer understanding on how we process our orders. We have made our “Terms and Conditions” accessible to everyone in a simple way. Please read them before you wish to place any domestic or international order. We encourage you to read the description of our products before purchasing. If you have any questions, please feel free to get back to us.
DISCLAIMER ON COLOURS
We are happy you found the product you are looking for. We hope to make you happier when you receive it. We use flash photography to increase the definition of our images and give our customers a better understanding of the intricate work which our hardworking weavers have contributed to making each piece a masterpiece. This may cause a slight variation in the actual color of the saree. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. Our contact information is available on this website. In case any product bleeds excessive color after wash, please contact us.
FEEDBACKS AND COMMENTS
Please feel free to provide us with feedbacks. It is your right! Our team member will get back to you at the earliest in case you wish to hear back from us. We appreciate honest feedbacks, and we would not filter out anything. However, we would request you, in case you wish to provide feedback of a purchased product on our website, to provide it factually in nature and shall not post illegal, offensive, or obscene comments. We would want our platform to be accessible to all people from various communities. We request everyone to respect sentiments and we will not tolerate any offensive or derogatory sentences. We believe our sarees are to be worn by everyone who wants to feel special. When we say everyone, we also respect the sentiments of women of various communities and people who are a part of the LGBTQ+. We may take legal action against anyone who degrades sentiments of people in their feedback/comments.
AMENDING ORDERS
We start processing your order immediately during the working day. In case you place an order via the website during non-working days including Sundays or government holidays, we shall process it the following working day. In case you wish to amend the order, please contact our team immediately. We usually do not amend order unless under genuine reasons. Please mention the correct shipping and billing addresses. We will not amend any order once dispatched.
For custom orders, we spend a lot of time and effort in conceptualizing your dream saree. We love to give you that smile and satisfaction. We will not be able to amend any custom order once the customization begins. We do not wish to waste the precious time and efforts of our weavers who work minutely on your given details.
PAYMENT FOR PRODUCTS PURCHASED/ WISH TO BE PURCHASED
We accept online payments via net banking, Paytm, Google pay, UPI payments and payments via debit or credit cards. We do not accept Cash on delivery under any circumstances.
Payments for the items on the Website can be made through the payment gateway partnered with by the company, or such other method of payment as may be permitted by the Company on the Website in its sole discretion. For the purposes of buying and/or selling any item listed on the Website, you agree and undertake not to make payments in any manner other than as provided, without the prior consent of the Company.
Our weavers and administrative team work hard to give you the best piece of work. We only make unique handloom products to give you that authentic experience. Hence, when you place an order with us, please be assured we are giving you the best. To keep this service at the highest pedestal, we require a full payment in advance. We do not accept part payments unless in a rare circumstance agreed upon by the company and customer mutually. Please read our “Cancellation policy” for further information.
Once an order is placed by you, we begin to process your order on the next working day. We do not wish to keep our team working during major festival days (Indian government holidays) and Sundays. Hence, we do not dispatch orders during these days. We will process your order the following working day and you may contact us in case you wish to track it.

All items advertised and/or listed on the Website and the contents therein are advertised and listed by Users and are third party purchasers and/or sellers as the case may be. You also give permission to the Website and the Company to store details and records of your usage of the Website indefinitely. However, this does not constitute any obligation on the part of the Company or the Website to do so.
You will treat the Website as a mere passive conduit which is used as a platform by Users to create listings or provide information for the purpose of selling their items so that such information can be discovered and read by other Users of the Website who may wish to purchase such items from other Users or provide feedback on items they have purchased or sellers who have sold any item to them.
You shall not place any advertisements on the Website in any manner except via our formal vendor advertising service. Further, you shall not use the Website to promote your own or any other person’s business or interests on the Website except for providing description on a listing for a specific item, unless permitted by the Company in writing.
When you browse House of Tuhil’s website, you are able to do so anonymously. We do not collect personal information when you browse. Your browser, however, does automatically tell us the type of computer and operating system you are using. Like almost all other websites, we use cookie technology. When you first connect to our site, the cookie identifies your browser with a unique, random number. The cookies we use do not reveal any personal information about you. We use cookies to study traffic patterns on our site so we can make the site even more efficient.
ARBITRATION AND LITIGATION
If any dispute arises between you and the Company during your use of the Website or any service incidental to the Website or thereafter, in connection with the validity, interpretation, implementation or alleged breach of any provision of the User Agreement, or the rules, policies and documents incorporated therein by reference, the dispute shall be referred to a sole arbitrator who shall be an independent and neutral third party identified by the Company whose decision shall be final. The place of arbitration shall be CHENNAI, Tamil Nadu, India. The Arbitration & Conciliation Act, 1996, shall govern the arbitration proceedings. The arbitration proceedings shall be in the English language.
This User Agreement and all rules, policies and documents incorporated by reference shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India and the Courts in Madras shall have exclusive jurisdiction.
This document is an electronic record in terms of Information Technology Act, 2000 and the amended provisions pertaining to electronic records in various statutes as amended by the Information Technology Act, 2000. This electronic record is generated by a computer system and does not require any physical or digital signatures.
