The body and its borders have been brought together using the Korvai technique. The borders continue into the pallu, which has been woven in peacock blue-green or Mayil Kazhuthu with fine detailing of Annam, Kathirm, Paneer Sombu, Bentek and Banaras motifs in pure gold zari.
